Martin Francis Foster is an English professional golfer, active on the European Tour from 1974 to 1982 and later on the European Senior Tour. Despite not winning on the European Tour, he was a runner-up five times in various championships, including the Irish Open and the Kerrygold International Classic. Notably, he finished 7th in the 1976 European Tour Order of Merit and had a strong start in the 1977 Open Championship, initially placing second after a first round of 67. However, he ended up tied for 26th overall.
