He worked as a buyer for Kristianstad municipality from 2012 to 2020 and currently leads procurement at the Swedish Transport Administration. Together with his twin brother Johan, he officiates games in the top Swedish league and participates in international beach handball events. The Gomér brothers have officiated major tournaments, including the European Beach Handball Tour and the Youth Olympic Games 2018. They were named Sweden's Handball Referees of the Year in 2010 and 2017.
