Martin Gorostidi Altuna was a Spanish musician born in 1913 in Amézqueta, Guipúzcoa. He studied music under Eduardo Mocoroa and Luis Urteaga, furthering his studies with Benito García de la Parra in Madrid. He became a priest in 1940 and was notable as a choir director, particularly for children's choirs. His most significant role was leading the Escolanía de Tiples de la Sagrada Familia in Madrid. Gorostidi passed away in Bilbao in 1988 and wrote several articles on the importance of children's choirs, as well as composed religious music and organ works.
