He serves as the athletic director at UCLA and previously played college basketball at UNC Wilmington, where he was a two-time captain. He holds an M.B.A and a master's degree in sports administration from Ohio University. Jarmond's career includes roles as associate athletic director at Michigan State and deputy director of athletics at Ohio State. He became the youngest athletic director in the Power Five conferences in 2017 and is the first African-American athletic director at Boston College.
