Martin Kuijer is a Dutch jurist and judge at the Supreme Court of the Netherlands, born on January 18, 1972, in Voorburg. He studied law at Leiden University and obtained a master's degree from Trinity College, Oxford. Kuijer has held various positions, including legal advisor at the Ministry of Justice and professor of human rights at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. He was involved with the European Court of Human Rights and various UN committees. In 2019, he was appointed to the Supreme Court and is also a member of the Permanent Court of Arbitration.
