Martin Masafret is a Swiss television presenter, sports reporter, and documentary filmmaker born on May 25, 1955, in Zurich. After completing his Matura in Immensee, he trained as a physical education teacher and graduated with an ETH diploma. He started working for Swiss television in the early 1980s, becoming a reporter and presenter. Masafret created the sports magazine 'time out' and served as its editor and host until 2001. He has directed documentaries featuring Martin Buser at the Iditarod and the Swiss national football team ahead of UEFA Euro 2004.
