Martin Mikaelyan was a prominent Armenian architect born on March 22, 1926, in Yerevan, Armenian SSR. He became a corresponding member of the Union of Architects in 1995 and was recognized as an Honored Architect of the Republic of Armenia in 1968. After graduating from Yerevan Polytechnic Institute in 1949, he began teaching there in 1955 and became a professor in 1989. He designed various residential buildings, resorts, and cultural centers in Armenia, contributing significantly to urban development and architectural theory, especially in the context of Armenia's climatic conditions.
