Martin Norsell, born on February 18, 1971, in Sävedalen, Sweden, is a prominent engineer and public official. He earned his MSc in Aerospace Engineering from KTH in 1999 and completed his Ph.D. in 2004. Norsell served as a professor and held various leadership roles at Försvarshögskolan in Stockholm. He was the rector of Högskolan Dalarna from May 1, 2018, to November 30, 2023, and is the current Director General of the Universitetskanslerämbetet since December 1, 2023.
