Martin Orford is an English keyboard player and singer, born on June 10, 1959, in Bitterne, Southampton. He is renowned for founding the progressive rock bands IQ and Jadis. In addition to his work with these bands, he collaborated with notable musicians like John Wetton and released solo albums such as 'Classical Music and Popular Songs' and 'The Old Road'. Awarded as Best Keyboard Player in 2004, Orford retired from the music industry in October 2008, but made a brief return for a performance at MelloFest 2009.
