Martin Werlen OSB, born Stefan Werlen on March 28, 1962, in Obergesteln, Switzerland, is a Swiss Benedictine monk. He served as the 58th abbot of Einsiedeln Abbey from 2001 to 2013, leading the monastery and overseeing its community. His leadership contributed to the spiritual life and activities of the Abbey, which is one of the most important Benedictine monasteries in Switzerland. Werlen's projects and initiatives have promoted the values of the monastic life and Benedictine traditions.
