Martina Jentsch is a former East German artistic gymnast born on March 22, 1968, in Leipzig. She represented the SC Einheit Dresden club. Jentsch achieved notable successes, including a seventh-place finish in the all-around at the 1985 World Championships in Montreal and bronze with the East German team. In 1986, she won DDR titles in floor exercise and vault, successfully defending her floor title in 1987. She was part of the DDR team that won bronze at the 1987 World Championships and at the 1988 Seoul Olympics, though an injury prevented her from competing in the finals.
