She achieved a total of 59 Grand Slam titles, the most in the Open Era, including 18 singles, 31 women's doubles, and 10 mixed doubles titles. Navratilova held the world No. 1 singles ranking for 332 weeks and won 167 top-level singles and 177 doubles titles. An outspoken advocate for LGBT rights, she became a U.S. citizen in 1981 and regained her Czech citizenship in 2008.
