Martina Pötschke-Langer was a German physician specialized in cancer prevention. She led the Cancer Prevention Division at the German Cancer Research Center in Heidelberg from 1997 until August 2016. Additionally, she headed the WHO Collaborating Center for Tobacco Control at DKFZ from 2002 to August 2016. In April 2016, she took on the position of chair of the Action Alliance Against Smoking. Pötschke-Langer's contributions were significant in advancing public health initiatives regarding cancer prevention and tobacco control.
