Martti LeThargie is the pseudonym of Martti Soutkari, a Finnish singer and guitarist born on January 17, 1958, in Helsinki. He is a member of the post-punk band Blago Bung and wrote the lyrics for the first single of New Bondage, 'Shocked & Defeated.' In addition to his music career, Soutkari works as a poet and translator between Finnish and Swedish. He is part of the literary group Malmöligan and is the son of linguist Pentti Soutkari.
