He played for HoNsU from 1958-1964, earning bronze in 1961 and winning another cup. He was ranked as Finland's third-best player in 1963. Yli-Jaskari participated in multiple matches and attained various regional championships throughout his career. He also earned a gold crown in a regional relay event in 1954.
