Marvin Rafael de los Ángeles Rodríguez Cordero is a Costa Rican educator, politician, and union leader born on October 20, 1960, in Puntarenas. He served as the Second Vice President of Costa Rica from 2018 to 2022. Growing up in a family of farmers with minimal formal education, Rodríguez began working in agriculture at a young age and became involved in community activities. He was also the Secretary General of the Costa Rican Teachers' Union and played a significant role in a teachers' strike in 2014. He was elected as vice president alongside Carlos Alvarado.
