During World War II, she was the only woman reporter for the military publication Daily Pacifican. Recognized for her contributions to journalism, NASA honors her alongside notable figures like Walter Cronkite for her long-term coverage of the Kennedy Space Center. Bubb passed away on March 28, 1988.
