Mary-Lynn Elizabeth Neil, born on June 18, 1997, is a Canadian singer-songwriter from Kingston, known as a country prodigy. She gained fame after winning a singing competition at age 10. Her debut single, 'A Daughter's Prayer', was inspired by her father serving in Afghanistan. At just 12, she recorded this song in Nashville, which was released in 26 countries. Her second single, a Christmas song titled 'I Want A Boy For Christmas', was released in November 2010. She toured with Wayne Rostad's Christmas in the Valley in 2010 and became the youngest professional member of the Canadian Country Music Association.
