Mary Carmella Riddell is a British journalist, known for her work as a columnist for The Observer and The Daily Telegraph. She served as the assistant editor of The Daily Telegraph. Riddell has also contributed to the Daily Mail and the New Statesman. Earlier in her career, she held positions as deputy editor of the Today newspaper and women's and assistant editor of the Daily Mirror. She is a member of the advisory board of Out of Trouble, an organization affiliated with the Prison Reform Trust.
