Marylyn Viveka Herbertsdotter Hamilton Gierow is a Swedish sculptor, born on February 2, 1936, in Bölsnäs farm in Ljungby, Kronoberg County. She studied at the West of England College of Art in Bristol from 1959-60, then at Konstfack in Stockholm from 1960-63, and finally under Asmund Arle at the Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm from 1963-68. Gierow is known for her equine sculptures as well as portrait sculptures and has designed awards for the horse racing event 'Årets hästgala'.
