Marzieh Vahid-Dastjerdi, born on February 11, 1959, in Tehran, is an Iranian university professor and former member of the Islamic Consultative Assembly. She currently serves as the Minister of Health and Medical Education. Notably, she is the first female minister in Iran since the Islamic Revolution, and the third woman in the country's history to hold a ministerial position, following Farrokhro Parsa and Mahnaz Afkhami.
