Masahiko Inoue is a Japanese novelist and anthologist born on January 13, 1960, in Shinjuku, Tokyo. He graduated from Meiji University, Faculty of Commerce, after attending Itabashi High School. He made his literary debut in 1983 with the work 'Yokei na Mono ga,' which won an excellence award in a short story competition. Inoue edited the horror anthology series 'Igyou Collection,' which received a special prize at the 19th Nihon SF Taisho awards in 1998. He served as secretary-general of the Japanese SF Writers Club from 2009 to 2011 and is currently a judging committee member for the 43rd Nihon SF Taisho.
