Masako Yabumoto (born Masako Masuda on December 5, 1967) is a Japanese freelance announcer and journalist. She has been a member of the Japan Press Club since 1996, focusing on human rights issues, particularly concerning Hansen's disease. She graduated from Waseda University and completed her master's degree at Sophia University. Yabumoto is known for her activism and has received various awards, including the Special Award for Human Rights Protection by the Minister of Justice. She was also active in a unit called 'DORA' during Japan's 40th anniversary of TV.
