Masanari Ueda (born July 14, 1972) is a Japanese ceramic artist, object creator, and illustrator. He graduated from the Department of Arts at Kinki University, specializing in ceramics, and furthered his studies in Italy and Spain. Ueda has exhibited his work internationally, including solo and group shows in Italy and Spain, and is recognized for his innovative ceramic illustrations. He received the Chōsan Prize in 1995 and was selected as a government scholarship student in Italy in 1998.
