Masande Ngcali Ntshanga (born 25 April 1986) is a South African writer known for novels, short stories, and poetry. His notable works include 'The Reactive' (2014), which won the Betty Trask Award, and 'Triangulum' (2019), nominated for a Nommo Award. In 2020, he published a poetry and prose collection, 'Native Life in the Third Millennium.' Ntshanga is also an editor and lecturer, contributing to various institutions and becoming the first black editor of the literary journal New Contrast, established in 1960.
