Masao Ishigaki (January 15, 1941 - November 9, 2016) was a Japanese politician and the mayor of Niimi City in Okayama Prefecture. He served three terms as mayor after entering city hall in 1971. He continued to contribute to local governance post-merger as the first mayor of the new Niimi City. His tenure focused on enhancing local information technology, child-rearing support, and social infrastructure. Ishigaki died in a work-related accident in 2016 and was posthumously honored as an honorary citizen of Niimi City.
