Masaru Morishima (born January 21, 1934) is a Japanese agricultural economist and professor emeritus at Rissho University. He graduated from the University of Tokyo's Faculty of Engineering in Civil Engineering in 1957 and completed his Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics in 1963. He held various academic positions, including assistant and full professor at Hokkaido University and the University of Tokyo, before becoming a professor at Rissho University, where he retired in 2004. He has also served on several councils related to agriculture and rural development.
