Masrour Barzani is an Iraqi Kurdish politician born in 1969 in Erbil. He is a member of the leadership of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) and the son of former Kurdistan Region president Masoud Barzani. Currently, he serves as the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region in Iraq. The KDP is one of the three main Kurdish political parties in Iraq, and Barzani is part of the current coalition government.
