Masud Choudhary was an Indian educator and social reformer born on April 10, 1944. He served as the founding Vice Chancellor of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University in Rajouri, Jammu and Kashmir. Besides his educational contributions, he was deeply involved in social reform efforts and acted as the Chief Patron of the Gurjar Desh Charitable Trust. Choudhary had a career in law enforcement, retiring as the Additional Director of the General Police in 2004, marking significant achievements in both education and administration before his passing on December 16, 2022.
