Matthew 'Matt' Granovetter, born in 1950, is an accomplished American bridge player and writer known for his significant contributions to bridge literature and his competitive success. He relocated from Jersey City to Israel, where he lived for over a decade before returning to the US. Granovetter is noted for winning the 2006 World Mixed Pairs Championship and has participated in numerous international team competitions. In addition to bridge, he co-edits Bridge Today, writes books on the game, and is the bridge editor for the Jerusalem Post.
