Matthew David Barber (born 16 February 1981) is a British politician, currently serving as Thames Valley Police and Crime Commissioner. He has held multiple positions, including Leader of the Vale of White Horse District Council and Deputy Police and Crime Commissioner. First elected to the District Council in 2003, Barber played a significant role in local governance and was involved in proposals for unitary authorities in Oxfordshire. He was educated in Oxfordshire and graduated from Brunel University. Barber resides in West Hanney with his wife and two children.
