He has received multiple prestigious awards including the 2019 Guggenheim Fellowship, 2020 Charles Ives Fellowship, and the 2016 Jacob Druckman Prize. Additionally, he has been honored with the 2015 Salvatore Martirano Memorial Composition Award, the 2013 ASCAP Foundation Morton Gould Young Composer Award, and has won eight prizes in the SOCAN Foundation's Awards for Young Composers. Currently, he resides in Brooklyn, New York.
