Matthew Victor Pastor (born 2 March 1989) is an Australian film director known for his exploration of Asian Australian identity and Filipino Australian narratives in his work. A graduate of the Victorian College of the Arts, he premiered his first feature film Melodrama/Random/Melbourne at the 2018 Adelaide Film Festival. In 2020, the first part of his COVID-19 trilogy, The Neon Across the Ocean, premiered at the São Paulo International Film Festival, followed by the world premiere of A Pencil to the Jugular at the Moscow International Film Festival in 2021.
