Matthias Giraud, also known as 'Super Frenchie,' is a French professional skier and B.A.S.E. jumper born on September 24, 1983. He grew up skiing in St Gervais-les-Bains/Megève, France. Giraud gained fame for the first ski B.A.S.E. jump off Mississippi Head on Mount Hood and notable ski BASE jumps worldwide, including the first off the Matterhorn. Initially a competitive ski racer, he transitioned to freeskiing and big mountain skiing. Giraud is recognized for his skill in combining skiing with BASE jumping and currently resides in Bend, Oregon.
