Matti Anton Hyökki, born on June 8, 1946, in Helsinki, is a Finnish choral conductor, Doctor of Music, and Emeritus Professor of Choral Conducting. He served as a lecturer in choral conducting at the Sibelius Academy from 1982 and was a professor from 2007 to 2014. Over his career, Hyökki has been the artistic director, choir conductor, and choir master for various prominent choirs, including Helsingin Poliisilaulajat, Ylioppilaskunnan Laulajat, and the Finnish National Opera choir.
