Matti Tapani Sarapaltio, known as 'Saara', was a Finnish musician and audio technology expert born on November 12, 1940, in Riihimäki, Finland. He specialized in sound technology for music festivals and large events from the 1970s. Sarapaltio founded his first company, Audiotron, which became a major provider of audio equipment and services for events. He was passionate about music, having played the saxophone in several bands. Later in life, he became a consultant and was involved in music education initiatives. He passed away on April 23, 2014, in Las Palmas, Spain.
