Dag Mattis Kleppen, born in 1968, is a Norwegian jazz musician specializing in double bass and bass guitar. He studied at the Jazzlinja (NTNU) and is a prominent figure in Trondheim's jazz and blues scene. He has played with various groups such as African Pepperbirds, where he collaborated with notable musicians. In 2004, he formed Cucumber Slumber and released 'No Slumber'. In December 2017, he released an album titled 'Bassgitar', which won the Folkelarmprisen 2018 in an open category. He currently performs with Live Maria Band and Bengalo.
