Maurade Glennon (1926–2017) was an Irish-American writer and teacher known for her short stories and novels. Born in Birr, Ireland, she studied at Dominican College and the University of Texas. She began her writing career with short stories, winning a contest in 1964. Glennon published two novels, 'No More Septembers' and 'The Waiting Time.' She was also an educator, serving on the board of Austin Community Nursery Schools. Glennon's papers are archived at Boston University. She lived in Austin, Texas, where she passed away at the age of 91.
