Born in Ohio in 1917, he began his hobo journey during the Great Depression. Graham worked as a cement mason and served in World War II. He fathered twins but abandoned his family in 1968, returning to a hobo lifestyle until retiring in 1980. He contributed to hobo culture through the National Hobo Foundation and the Hobo Museum before passing away in 2006.
