Mauricio Rodriguez Silva, known as The Monster, is an American serial killer born on October 25, 1959. He committed three murders, including that of his half-sister, during a crime spree in May 1984 across California, shortly after being paroled for a previous manslaughter conviction. Silva was convicted of these crimes and sentenced to death, and he is currently awaiting execution.
