Maurizio Gradin is an Italian comic book artist born in Milan on April 25, 1967. After graduating from an art high school, he attended the School of Illustration and Comics at Castello Sforzesco. He began his career in graphics and layout before launching a studio in 1993 with his friend Fabio Jacomelli. They joined the Legs Weaver comic team in 1995, debuting with a story written by Michele Medda. Gradin continued working on various comic series including Nathan Never, contributing to numerous stories until 2006.
