Max Groen (1918-2004) was a Holocaust survivor who endured six concentration camps, including Auschwitz, during World War II. He escaped death while his brother was murdered in Sobibor. After the war, he became a film translator and announcer for Radio Veronica, where he was among the first presenters. In 1989, he retraced his concentration camp journey with writer Ton Kors, resulting in the book 'De Tocht Opnieuw'. Groen shared his life story with the USC Shoah Foundation in 1996, preserving his experiences for future generations.
