May Aas is a former Norwegian handball player, born as May Sigrun Johansen on October 14, 1940. She began her career at Vålerengens IF in 1956 and went on to play over 600 competitive matches for Vålerenga Handball until 1987. Throughout her career, she received several accolades, including the Vålerengens Idrettsforening's merit medal in 1978 and being named an honorary member in 1993, making her the first woman to receive this honor. She was also awarded the Oslo Handball District honorary gift in 1990.
