Ida May Routh (1934–2022) was a British-American costume designer known for her work in film and television. Born in India and educated at Saint Martin's School of Art, she began her career as a fashion illustrator. Routh gained prominence in the film industry with credits in movies like The Man Who Fell to Earth, Being There, and Splash. She collaborated frequently with director John Frankenheimer and received Emmy nominations for her costume designs. Routh married Brian Eatwell in 1983 and continued to work until her death in 2022, after which she was interred at Hollywood Forever Cemetery.
