He served as the head of the Machine and Material Laboratory at the Turkish Standards Institute and held various managerial positions. He was a member of the Turkish Grand National Assembly representing Hatay and participated actively in consumer protection organizations. He passed away on January 14, 2021, due to COVID-19.
