Mehmet Zaman Saçlıoğlu was a Turkish writer of short stories and novels, poet, and academic. Born in Bursa, he graduated from TED Ankara College in 1973 and the Tatbiki Güzel Sanatlar Yüksek Okulu in 1977. He completed his master's degree at Ege University's Fine Arts Faculty, where he also served as an assistant for four years. From 1984 to 1996, he was a faculty member at Marmara University's Fine Arts Faculty and had brief guest teaching stints in Belgium and Australia. Saçlıoğlu participated in numerous art and design exhibitions and conferences both domestically and internationally.
