Mei Kebao is a retired Chinese politician born in March 1957. He was the deputy director of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine before his retirement. Throughout his career, he held several significant roles, including Deputy Committee Secretary of Hunan and party chief of several cities: Changsha, Hengyang, and Chenzhou. He was also a delegate to the 16th and 17th National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party and served as an alternate member of the 17th and 18th Central Committees.
