Melikset Poghosyan, also known as Melo, is an Armenian freedom fighter born on August 31, 1960, in Tegh, Goris Region, Armenian SSR, USSR. He played a significant role in the Artsakh War and served as the commander of the 'Melik Barkhudar' volunteer detachment. Additionally, he was the former military commissar of Goris and holds the military rank of Colonel. Poghosyan has also held the position of Governor of Syunik Province, contributing to regional governance and security.
