Menardo Ilasco Guevarra is a prominent Filipino lawyer, born on May 23, 1954. He serves as the Solicitor General of the Philippines since 2022 under President Bongbong Marcos. Previously, he held the position of Secretary of Justice under President Rodrigo Duterte, and served as a commissioner for the Philippine Competition Commission during President Benigno Aquino III's term. Guevarra was a founding partner at the Medialdea Ata Bello Guevarra & Suarez law firm and has been an active faculty member at Ateneo de Manila University, his alma mater since his graduation in 1974.
