Mercè Vallès Corominas is a former water polo player, sports manager, and Catalan politician, born on April 29, 1979, in Sabadell, Vallès Occidental. She played for CN Sabadell, winning four Spanish Leagues and three Queen's Cups, being the top scorer in the league during the 2002-03 season. An international player for Spain, she competed 88 times between 1997 and 2004, participating in major championships. After retiring in 2004, she entered local politics and held positions in various municipalities, later becoming vice president of the CN Sabadell in 2017.
